AIM & OBJECTIVE

Higher education system in Kerala is entirely different from those of other states. High rate of literacy, along with the increased number of students opting for higher academic pursuits, has been creating a wide gap between the demand and availability of seats in Government/Aided colleges. Self-financing college is only an emerging concept in the state. In such a scenario, the one and only option available for a large chunk of lower middle class learning community is to depend on parallel colleges. Northern region of Kerala, especially the district of Kannur witnessed a severe crunch of quality institution in private sector during late 80’s and early 90’s .Hence the emergence of this college was but a sequel to this situation.

The objective of this college is to expand the reach of higher education in northern region of Kerala. This institution is dedicated to the cause of empowering the rural people by providing them better access to quality higher education. Having equipped well, this college caters to the needs of both academic and computer students.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Application for admissiion must be made to the principal in the prescribed form issued from the office

Selection is purely on the basis of students meeting the eligibility criteria

Before the final selection students will be interviewed by the principal

At the time of interview the students shall produce original certificates and 3 passport size photographs

After the interview the selected students will be enrolled immediatly

The fee and dues may be paid by the stipulated date

Defaulters will not be allowed to attend the class

There can be no refund of the a fee .

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE STUDENTS

Use the cell phone inside the class is strictly prohibited .

Collecting money in the college is not allowed without the prior permission of the principal .

Visiters are not permitted to meet the students during class hours .

Students are not alllowed to enter other classes.

Students should take proper care of their dress and appearance.

Boys should keep their hair neatly trimmed.

Students are not allowed to leave the campus during the class hours without the permission of principal / class teacher.

Students are not expected to hang out in the college premises and on the way after class hours.

Professional students should wear uniform on all days except on Wednesdays.

Boys are not wear any headgears in the class.

At 12:30 & 4:30 the first and second bells are respectively meant for girls and boys.

Chewing pan, gum etc. are srtictly prohibited on the campus.
